Fundraising

Since it was first organised in 2002, the Moor Park 10k & Junior Fun Runs have raised nearly £600,000 for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, helping us to meet some of the 37,000 requests for help we receive each year.

This event is one of the main fundraising events of the LJMC year so, on behalf of the people who use the centre’s services, thank you for taking part.

Many runners choose to raise sponsorship for their participation, others make a donation with their entry form. Whatever method of support you choose, the LJMC is most grateful – thank you.

As a ‘thank you’, all runners who raise £10 or more (either through personal sponsorship or donations) will be entered in to the Special Prize Draw with a chance to win a TomTom Runner 3 GPS watch (generously donated by Runnersworld Watford, in association with TomTom).

If you’ve got a personal story to tell about your participation, please get in touch with our PR department. We’d love to hear from you.

Links to set up your fundraising page will be published soon.

Don’t feel guilty about asking people to support you; by doing so they are also supporting the work of a fantastic charity.
