Please help us promote this event as widely as possible by becoming a champion. For example:
Do you have children of school age and could you promote the Junior Fun Runs at their school? Talk to the teachers, talk to the pupils (we can come along to an assembly if it helps) and get them excited about taking part. We welcome school teams.
After the event, we can provide the school with a list of pupils who took part. You will also be encouraging pupils to take part in a community event that promotes the values of leading a healthy lifestyle.
We can provide entry forms, posters, leaflets and any other information you may need. Every child who completes the course will receive a medal and there are team trophies up for grabs for the winning school teams.
Whip up some enthusiasm at work and get together a team to take part. Even better, get together two teams - men's and ladies'. Set up a running club after work and get fit together, use it for team-building and have fun.
Raise some money while you're doing it and you'll be supporting a great cause at the same time.
We can come and tell you more about the event and the charity - the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre - and how your company will be helping support the thousands of people affected by cancer who ask for our help each year.
Can you display posters or other marketing material in local shops, pubs and clubs? If so, let us know and we'll send some over.
Do you belong to a community group? How about getting a team together?
Can you display a poster in your club house? Can you get a team together? All you need are four men or four ladies and you've got a team.
Get your friends and family to come and join in too. As well as taking part (remember, there's no age limit), they can come along and cheer. If they live too far away, they can always support you by sponsoring you via your Justgiving fundraising page.
If you'd like to be a Moor Park 10k champion, please get in touch. Please help us make the tenth Moor Park 10k the very best ever!
