The 'Rio effect' is kicking in and there's been a surge of entries, particularly since Mo Farah's gold medal winning success, along with that of the rest of Team GB.
The number of young people entering has increased significantly and we're all getting very excited, even after 15 years of organising this event!
We fully expect some of the children's races to be filled before race day so please make sure you enter soon in order to avoid disappointment.
Local schools are keen to get their hands on the 2012 Shield which is awarded to the school that enters the most children in the junior events.
Current leaders are:
with teams from Christ Church School Chorleywood and Merchant Taylors' Prep School in hot pursuit.
It's going to be a great day in September and we really look forward to welcoming you to Merchant Taylors' School on 25th.
See you then!
With best wishes
